Project Description:
Gheshlag Reservoir Dam is being implemented with the aim of supplying urban water to the city of Sahneh, as well as the water needed for the agricultural land of Sahne Plain and Cham Khamal. The physical progress of the project is about 70% and the rial progress is about 98%.
This dam is of a pebble type with a clay core and 70 meters above the river bed.
The main project consists of excavating and embankment items of 3 million cubic meters, drilling and injection of consolidation and drainage of 35,000 meters long and about 40,000 cubic meters of concrete, with a reservoir capacity of about 50 million cubic meters.
